In 2023 Gwyneth entertained us with stories of a relative of hers, Clarkie, the Pantomime Dame. This year Gwyneth tells us about the Red Dean, a distant relative. Hewlett Johnson was an Anglican priest and Christian Marxist, known as the Red Dean of Canterbury because of his support for Joseph Stalin and the Soviet Union.
