Metal Detecting
This month we have invited Bawburgh resident, Mick Andrews to talk to us.
Mick describes himself as an enthusiastic metal detectorist. He has had a keen interest in ancient and not so ancient history for the past 25 years and over that time has unearthed some very interesting finds.
He will give a presentation on his hobby including photographs of artifacts dating as far back as the Iron Age.
There will also be a table displaying various discoveries from the Iron Age, Celtic, Roman, Anglo Saxon, Mediaeval and Tudor periods, right up to the present day.
All in all, this should be a very interesting evening.
